Welcome to the official website of PICCOLA ITALIA University of the Philippines Diliman!

The Italian student organization Piccola Italia of the University of the Philippines, Diliman which literally means "Little Italy", is an academic-oriented student organization, under the Department of European Languages, College of Arts and Letters.

 Providing information and documentation about Italy in the cultural aspects; giving orientations on universities and information on Italian schools, academies and universities. 

Providing information and orienting numerous Filipino students who would like to study in Italy, with or without scholarships. And for those who seek for the Embassy’s help: from contacting the selected Universities to checking the applicant’s declaration of values and requested documents for the visa grants (with the collaboration of the Consular and Visa offices).

Societa Dante Alighieri Comitato di Manila


     Societa Dante Alighieri (SDA) is a society that promotes the Italian culture and language around the world.

With the central aim to "promote the study of the Italian language and culture throughout the world...a purpose independent of political ideologies, national or ethnic origins or religious beliefs, and that the Society is the free association of people - not just Italians - but all people everywhere who are united by their love for the Italian languages and culture and the spirit of universal humanism that these represent."
The Philippine Italian Association 
 
A non-profit organization founded in 1962 to promote socio-cultural relations between Italy and the Philippines. The Philippine-Italian Association (PIA) was founded amid a growing desire to develop friendly relations between the Philippines and Italy. It was incorporated on February 19, 1962 as a non-profit organization for the mutual benefit of both countries particularly in the fields of culture, education, art, music and tourism.

Apps' Night

A gathering event hosted by the applicants to showcase their talents, a night that offers a unique theme proposed by the applicants to further strengthen their passion for Italian Culture. Giving the applicants a chance to collaborate and pool every resource they are given to conduct a night of Cross-fusion Italian, Mid-eastern, Western, and South-eastern Culture.
